This is the privacy policy for the mobile applications published by Mohamed Eltuhamy, an
individual developer, including London Prayer Times (also listed as London and Belfast Prayer
Times) on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
This is the single governing privacy policy for all of my published apps. It explains what data the
apps access, collect, use and share; how that data is handled and secured; and how long it is kept.

The developer of these apps and the person responsible for this policy is:

tuhamy@gmail.com. This is the point of contact for all privacy enquiries,
and I aim to respond within 30 days.
What data the apps collect
The apps do not collect any personal or sensitive user data.
Specifically:
- The apps contain no analytics, tracking, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs. No usage data,
behavioural data or advertising identifiers are collected. - The apps do not access your device location. Prayer times are shown for a city that you choose
yourself from a list; no location permission is requested and no location data is read,
transmitted or stored. - The apps do not require an account and do not ask for your name, email address, phone number,
contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone or calendar. - The apps do not collect any personal or sensitive user data as defined by the Google Play User
Data policy.
Settings stored on your device
The preferences you set in the app — for example your chosen city, notification and reminder
settings, and display options — are stored locally on your own device only. They are not
transmitted to me or to anyone else, and I have no ability to read them. Deleting the app removes
them from your device.
What data is shared, and with whom
I do not share, sell, rent or transfer any user data to any third party, because the apps do not
collect any.
There are no advertising networks, data brokers, analytics providers or other third-party recipients
of user data from these apps.
The one exception worth naming, because it is outside my control: when you download an app, the app
store you use — Google Play (Google LLC) or the Apple App Store (Apple Inc.) — provides me with
aggregate, anonymous statistics such as total install counts, country-level totals, app versions
in use, and crash rates. I receive these as summary figures in the store’s own dashboard. They
contain no personally identifiable information, I cannot identify any individual user from them, and
I cannot link them to a person or device. This data is generated and held by the app store under its
own privacy policy, not by the app:
I may also disclose information if I am legally required to do so by a valid legal process, such as a
court order. Given that I hold no user data, there would in practice be nothing to disclose.
How data is handled and kept secure
Because the apps collect no personal or sensitive user data, there is no user database, no server
storing personal information, and therefore no store of personal data that could be breached.
The measures that do apply are:
- Data minimisation. The apps are built to collect nothing. This is the primary safeguard: data
that is never collected cannot be lost, misused or exposed. - Nothing transmitted. The apps do not send your data anywhere, so there is no transfer of
personal information that could be intercepted. - On-device storage. Your settings remain on your device, protected by your device’s own
operating system security and any screen lock, encryption or passcode you have enabled. - Access control. Any account I hold with the app stores, which gives access only to the
aggregate statistics described above, is protected with a strong unique password and two-factor
authentication.
Data retention and deletion
I retain no personal or sensitive user data, so there is nothing held about you to retain or
delete. There is no user data on my systems at any point.
- Settings on your device: kept on your device for as long as the app is installed. You can
delete all of it at any time, without contacting me, by clearing the app’s data in your device
settings or by uninstalling the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent. - Aggregate store statistics: these are anonymous and contain nothing that identifies you. They
are generated and retained by Google and Apple under their own retention policies, and I cannot
delete individual entries from them because no entry corresponds to an individual. - Privacy correspondence: if you email me with a privacy question, I keep that email only as long
as needed to answer it, and no longer than 12 months. You can ask me to delete it sooner.
To make a request about your data — including a request to delete it — email
tuhamy@gmail.com. Depending on where you live you may have rights under
laws such as the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR or the CCPA to access, correct, delete or export your personal
data, or to object to its processing. I will honour these requests, and there is no charge for
making one.
Children
The apps are suitable for all ages and do not collect data from anyone, including children. They
contain no advertising, no in-app purchases and no social features.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page and the effective date at
the top will be revised. Any material change to how data is handled will be reflected here before it
takes effect. This page is the authoritative and only version of this policy.
